...awesome, Spaz. Now if we could just get a pic of Christian Hayden driving an Atom...

Has anyone thought to invite him to AtomFest09?

And as for the comment
"Only a middle-aged, virgin, former trombone playing, geek would own a complete Darth Vader costume and an Ariel Atom. Search your feelings. You know it to be true. "

Its not a complete Darth Vader costume!

Spaz....that getup is priceless, plus with the mask it also protects against bugs and stones in the face... Shocked
This Vadar getup would really only work with an all black, sinister Atom like Spaz's.
Spaz, I just noticed the 2 gauges in one of your bubble windscreens, what are they for?
cheers

Brilliant! I laughed my arse off!! Much better than your Wookie costume, although I did like your fuzzy ears laugh

How's the aero on that helmet at 75?

We must organize another Cars & Coffee Atom day. Mid March would be good. Get all the So Cal guys that we can. The ones with cars on order can passenger up. Spaz can lead the way with that outfit coming out of the meet and then we could do a coastal run up PCH to Malibu.
That would be awesome. I can see some interesting outfits following along.

Well...I'm not exactly planning on wearing this getup for any real driving.  Vision out of that helmet was awful.   laugh

Drill some bigger holes or get a HUD built inside. C'mon, man laugh

Why the hell do you need to see much anyway. A squint is all you need! Smiley

Vision out of that helmet was awful.

Concider using the Spaceballs version instead then.

Then he couldn't breathe.  Smiley

By far the best Atom pic ever!  Spaz, you've outdone ourself on this one.  thumbsup

The comments really are pretty good, and thankfully Spaz is the sort of chap who can take it with a smile... "See...when you live in Mom's basement, you've got more money to spend on toys."  They're just jealous, man.  Don't worry about it.  laugh

Made it to digg.com, and The Car Lounge.

Favorite quote so far, "Look, I don't care what the guy at the comic book store told you about the helmet, it isn't Snell approved and we aren't letting you on the track with it.".
